Threshold (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is an architecture and interiors reading application developed and published by iClarke Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Threshold app on Android, how we use it, and the choices available to you. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling any personal information with care and transparency.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide The app does not require account registration or login. You do not need to submit any personal information such as your name, email address, or payment details to use the core reading features of the app.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information When you use the app, certain technical information may be collected automatically by the Android operating system or third-party services, including: device type, model, and operating system version; app version and installation identifiers; crash reports and diagnostic data collected via Google Play Services; and general usage analytics, such as which screens are viewed, if analytics are enabled on your device.
2.3 Information We Do Not Collect Threshold does not collect, store, or transmit your precise or approximate location, your contacts, camera, microphone, or file storage data, browsing history or data from other apps, or biometric data of any kind.
3. How We Use Your Information
Any information collected is used solely to ensure the app functions correctly on your device, identify and fix crashes or technical issues, and understand aggregate usage in order to improve the reading experience. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating and improving the Threshold app.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited technical data with Google Play Services for app distribution and crash reporting, analytics providers where you have not opted out via Android’s privacy settings, and legal authorities if required to do so by law or court order. All third parties are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection law.
5. Data Retention
Because Threshold does not collect personal data through the app itself, there is no personal data for us to retain or delete. Any diagnostic or crash data collected by Google Play Services is subject to Google’s own retention policies, which you can manage in your device’s Google account settings.

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict certain types of processing, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Threshold is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data associated with your use of the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
